Application Process
We are happy that you have decided to apply for enrollment at Virginia
Beach Friends School.
The first step is to complete and submit the application form for
your childs age level. You may have already received an application form
from us or
you can download one from the resources below.
Student Visit
- After we have received the application form, we will call you about setting
up a time for the student to visit the school. Each applicant
visits for two days with his current grade level.
- After the visit is complete and all the necessary references and records
have been received by the school, the Admissions Committee will
review your file and make a recommendation on acceptance into
our school and on grade
placement.
Finding a Good Match
In making these decisions, the Admissions Committee is most interested
in making a good match between the student and our program. Is
the student prepared to succeed in our program and will the program be
able to offer
him what he needs? They consider the student's academic potential,
motivation, attitude toward school, behavior in the classroom and
toward others, and
readiness for our school program.
- Applications are considered on an on-going basis and most families
are notified of the school's decision within two weeks of the student's
visit.
- Virginia Beach Friends School does not discriminate on the basis

in the administration of its educational policies, financial
aid programs,
and athletic and other school-administered programs.
Early School Applicants (Pre K - K)
Lower School Applicants (Grades 1-5)
Middle and Upper School Applicants (Grades 6-12)
