Early School Camp Overview
Our Early Camps for children ages 3-6 offer a wide variety of both indoor and outdoor activities. Each one week session focuses on an educational and fun theme which campers will explore through art, crafts, music, games, movement and stories. Campers have opportunities for individual as well as group exploration. And, Friends School is a great place to make new friends! Each camp program is designed by a certified Early Childhood Educator and created to stimulate young children’s natural curiosity and their need for hands-on activities to help them explore the world around them.
Parents may choose either Half Day (9:00am-12noon) or Full Day (9:00am-3:00pm) camps. Extended Care (7:30-5:30pm) is also available. Following lunch, Full Day Campers have a 45 minute rest time. The remainder of the afternoon is spent enjoying additional arts and crafts projects and free play as we continue our thematic exploration.
On the first day of camp, all campers should bring a snack, a water bottle and a change of clothes. Please label everything with your child’s name. Full day campers should have a packed lunch, drink and a rest mat. For those who enjoy water play, bring a towel and wear your bathing suit under your clothes. Campers should wear comfortable clothes as well as sneakers or sandals with backpacks.
